Special Issue: Sociology of Professions in South Africa

The South African Review of Sociology (Taylor and Francis) will publish a special issue on “Towards sociology of professional work in South Africa” in 2013.  The issue will be IBSS accredited and has generated enormous interest amongst South African sociologists since it is the first attempt to theorise and empirically explain what a ‘professions project’ means for South African sociology. The guest editors are Dr. Debby Bonnin (Industrial, Organisational and labour Studies) and Dr. Shaun Ruggunan (Human Resource Management) both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa.

A table of contents will be posted online as soon as it is available.
